Hey guys.  I just checked out your website.  Nice start!!

So, you guys just started the Nerd clan in June, huh?  We started our clan last May (2003), but let it sit there for a year with only a little site, no traffic, and only a couple members.  This past May (2004), I built the new website and forum boards.  I started posting messages on clan's forum boards that I played with..."GBB says hi" and stuff with a link to our site.  Within weeks we had hundreds of hits and a few new members.  one of those members gave us the use of his machine to run our unofficial authorized server.  Now, less than 3 months later, our website has had more than 4000 hits, and our forums have had more than 14,000 hits.  We've had to turn away LOTS of applicants (we were getting an average of 1 a day), and become an "Invite Only" clan.

The whole reason I've bored you with this story is, well, I saw that you are recruiting, and you took the time to make a nice website, so I imagine, you want people to SEE you.  So, my humble advise is you need to get you guys a forum board, REALLY (we use ProBoards).  You'll start to see traffic though if you make the rounds and post 'Hi" messages on other clan's forums.  Clan forum boards are a great back & forth community.

We also were wondering, possibly in the future if you two would be interested in being listed on our "Clans That Don't Suck Page".  That is, after playing with you some more.  You seem like good guys.  We'll talk about that later if your interested.
